Explore Glacier elopements
You want to exchange vows beneath towering peaks, with crystal-clear lakes and endless skies as your witnesses.

That's where I come in!

Glacier offers an unforgettable backdrop for intimate weddings and elopements—where every moment feels sacred, every view takes your breath away, and your love story unfolds in nature’s grandest cathedral.

Whether it’s a quiet lakeside ceremony, a mountaintop sunrise, or a hidden forest glen, Glacier’s beauty creates a setting as unique and timeless as your bond.

Let’s capture your day in a place that inspires awe, wonder, and pure joy.

Glacier National Park is one of the most stunning and unique wedding destinations in the country, but planning a wedding here can be intimidating from far away.

From scouting the best spots to handling weather changes and trail access, I’m here to bring your elopement vision to life in Glacier's wild majesty.

I live just down the road from Glacier and know this park like my own backyard — because, well, it kind of is. From secret picnic spots to the best places to catch alpenglow without the crowds, I’m here to help you skip the tourist traps and get straight to the magic.

I photograph elopements that are wild, intentional, and deeply you. Whether you're cliff-jumping in your wedding clothes or sharing vows in a quiet alpine meadow, I’ll help you plan an experience that feels real — and I’ll capture every unscripted second.

more than just a photoshoot

What's different about working with me

I’m not here just to rush you around and snap photos in beautiful places. I’m here to help you stay grounded in what truly matters — to deepen your connection with each other and the environment around you. When you’re truly yourself, there’s no need to perform on this special day. You simply get to be present. That’s why my process is all about crafting an experience, not just taking pictures.

Let’s design your perfect-fit elopement — your love, your values, woven together with my planning, guidance, and the care I bring to every detail.

I think it’s a missed opportunity to show up at a beautiful spot, get the shot, then jump back in the car and leave. I want you to revel in the wonder of the place you choose to elope. This is a memory you’ll carry for the rest of your life — the smell of moss, the warmth of the sun, the sound of the creek. You can’t truly feel that if you’re just popping in and out all day.

Together, we’ll craft a plan that becomes your compass for the day. Many photographers talk about candid moments and storytelling — I intentionally build in space throughout your day to breathe, relax, and truly loosen up.

Whether you have a clear vision or just a feeling about where you want to go, we’ll shape the day around what matters most to you as a couple. It all starts with easy, heartfelt conversations about what you love, what makes your relationship unique, and how you want to remember this day.

I take on only a small number of elopements each year, so I can give you the devotion and care you deserve. From our first conversation to the moment you hold your album in your hands — you’ll have my full attention and creative energy every step of the way.

“Kat was super flexible as we had to change our schedule due to mountain rains. She was great to work with, and we're so grateful for her capturing our wedding day!"

We might be a perfect fit if this sounds like you!

  • You’re caught between the idea of a traditional wedding and the pull of a wild, authentic experience — and kinda want both.

  • You’re overwhelmed by the idea of planning a traditional wedding and want something different

  • You want your wedding day to be truly a celebration with your loved ones, not a production.

  • You want an experience that celebrates your love and feels uniquely you.

  • You want more than just pretty pictures — you want to truly live your day together.

  • You have wanderlust

  • You want someone who will affirm you belong. Don’t feel like you’re outdoorsy enough for an adventure elopement, but deep down you’re craving the wilderness? I’m here for you.

Let's talk!

I’m here to say you are not alone and you have come to the right photographer! You belong in these beautiful wild places, and together, we’ll create an elopement experience that feels 100% true to you.

So how does it work?

1. Decide you want to play outside on your wedding day.

2. inquire with me

You don't need to know the details, just start brainstorming what time of year you love, what activities bring you closer, and where in the world you've always wanted to go!

3. we plan the adventure

4. experience your elopement to the fullest

I'll work with you to design a custom itinerary incorporating everything you want for your day, from sunrise hiking to a picnic lunch by a waterfall. Lean on me! Planning is my happy place, and I know so much about Western Montana and all the hidden gems.

When your wedding day is here, all you have to do is enjoy it, experience it with your partner, and create memories together. I'll be there to document the magic and guide you through your own adventure. And when it's over, you'll have those moments captured in timeless images forever.

Whether you want a private sunrise ceremony, lakeside in Glacier, or you want a classic wedding at a local venue, reaching out is the first step to having your own planning expert to bounce ideas and bring your vision into focus. I'll be with you through every step of the process as your cheerleader, advocate, and guide.

Say Hello!

Can we bring guests?

It's your wedding day; you can do whatever you want!

I'm happy to accommodate up to 20 guests and find ways to make your day fun for them, too.

Keep in mind that logistics get more difficult with more people and will limit location options.

Bathrooms, parking, and seating to name a few things, get more complicated as you add more people to your day.

Yes!

Let's Tie the Knot

Celebrate your love in the outdoors and let me help you capture the wonder.

And everywhere in between

Acknowledging Indigenous Lands

We honor their enduring relationship with this land and their ongoing contributions to the cultural, spiritual, and ecological well-being of the region.

With humility and deep gratitude, we recognize that our ability to hold elopements in these beautiful places is possible because of the care and stewardship of the Indigenous peoples who have lived on and honored this land, including:

The Niitsitapi (Blackfoot Confederacy)
The Séliš (Bitterroot Salish)
The Ksanka (Kootenai)
The Ql̓ispé (Pend d’Oreille)
